For Watches and Wonders 2025, IWC is doubling down on 2023’s Ingenieur revival with a slew of new complications, materials, and even sizes. It’s no surprise after the success and praise surrounding the revival of this Genta-designed UK 1:1 perfect replica watches. Fortunately, in its first year of life, it avoided the limited edition plague, but that ends now. For 2025 and the soon-to-be-released F1® The Movie, IWC has unveiled the Green-Dial Ingenieur Automatic 40 IW328908 inspired by the watch worn by the main character, Sonny Hayes, played by Brad Pitt. Despite my dismay at limited editions, this one is quite a looker.
When it comes to product placement in film, few do it better than watches. Whether it’s Omega in James Bond, Hamilton in Interstellar, or now, IWC in F1®, watches are much more than a product. They tell us much about the character—whether it be who they are or who they want to be—and often you don’t need to be a watch enthusiast to catch on. As my friends over at Watches of Espionage always say, “A watch is never just a watch; it’s a way to tell a story.” In the case of the up-and-coming F1®, the customized vintage best online fake IWC Ingenieur watches on the wrist of Sonny Hayes indicates that this guy is old-school cool and is going to find his own way to make it to the podium. Now, onto the watch itself. The movement is self-winding, operates at 4Hz, has a hacking seconds hand, quick-adjust date, and an impressive 120 hours of power reserve. Paired with a sapphire crystal and screw-down crown, the high quality copy IWC Ingenieur watches are rated for 100 meters of water resistance—plenty for everyday wear without worry. The bezel features a fine circularly brushed top surface and five functional screws holding it down. A highly polished bevel gives way to the broad brushed and polished midcase. Large angular guards flank the crown at three o’clock and are treated with the same brushed and polished bevels found throughout the case.
An H-link style bracelet is seamlessly integrated into the case and tapers down to the butterfly deployant clasp. I will always criticize bracelet clasps on luxury Swiss made replica watches that do not have a built-in micro-adjustment, and this is no exception. IWC, however, does offer an alternative clasp (part number MXE0Q8TG) that can be swapped out for an additional cost. This optional clasp features the same dual push-button clasp and on-the-fly adjustment found on its other models with external access and ratcheting ability. Truthfully, this is one of my favorite clasps on the market and is a worthy upgrade for a few hundred bucks, in my opinion.
On the wrist, the Ingenieur wears like a dream. It has plenty of wrist presence but may be a bit heavy for some due to the extra mass provided by the internal iron cage, but it shouldn’t be an issue for most. The bracelet drapes nicely over the wrist and provides plenty of articulation for large and small wrists, as you can see on David’s 6.75-inch wrist. The center links of the bracelet are highly polished and raised, which will most certainly become covered in scratches quickly. Equally high polished bevels are found along the edge of the bracelet that add some visual slimming and flow seamlessly through the edge of the case. As overused as the phrase is, the shop buy fake watches truly do play with the light, and the dial doesn’t skimp out on this.
The modernized grid dial of the Ingenieur is still present but rendered in a metallic green that shifts from deep olive to sage green and even has some more vibrant tones that peek out in the highlights. Paired perfectly is a matching date wheel (at three o’clock) and a set of gold-plated hands and applied markers, both filled with Swiss Super-LumiNova. Unfortunately, we were not able to get a lume shot of this one while we had it on hand, but the modern Ingenieur has had an adequate amount of lowlight visibility since its revival. The one place the dial falls flat is the printed text with the brand and model logo. Each of these is done on a flat surface that unobtrusively disrupts the texture but lacks contrast in some lighting conditions. This may be a plus for some, but on a watch that costs this much, I would like to be sure the brand name is legible. I may be nitpicking a bit, but the reality is that I truly like this model and this specific limited edition. While I am critical of its price point, it is hard to deny that the Ingenieur presents a solid value when compared directly to other integrated bracelet UK cheap super clone watches of major brands. That doesn’t mean it isn’t expensive, though, and value perception is different for everyone.
Given that IWC is one of the title sponsors of the fictional APXGP racing team in the movie (and a sponsor of Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team in real life), the custom AAA luxury replica IWC watches on Pitt’s wrist fits both the storyline and current watch culture in Formula 1, although the drivers generally wear the latest and hottest watches from their sponsors. While not confirmed(or even hinted at, for that matter), it would be fitting for Sonny Hayes(Brad Pitt) to don this new updated Green Dial Ingenieur limited edition at the end of the film, but you’ll have to go see it in theaters in June to find out.
